Recent ActivityAnnouncements What's Happening in the Music RoomIt feels so good to be off to a great start to the school year!
When you're in the area close to the Music room, please be sure to look in and see what's going on. You'll be sure to hear and see the students singing, playing instruments, listening to various types of music literature, movement activities, and notating and reading music. They're learning a lot and having fun at the same time! We will also be starting the Recorder unit for third grade students and continuing with learning to play the Recorder in 4th and 5th grades. Be sure to look for the letter regarding purchasing a Recorder in the next month. Also, know in advance, that your child will be smiling when he/she sees you in the audience at the 4th/5th grade program where you will see presentations of what they're learning inside the classroom, art room, and the music room. It will be a spectacular event. Mark your calendars now to be at Kilby on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. See you soon!
